The vast majority of the tiny quantities of wine produced by Il Vei from their vineyards in the rolling hills of Emilia are sold to local trattoria and neighbours. Those that make it as far as the UK are bottled before the fermentation has finished which leads to a very gentle spritz. The wine itself is dark, herbaceous and very pure. Perfect for drinking outside. Or just drinking, with or without pizza, barbecue, pasta, friends.
