About: Michel has just under 7 hectares of vines in the middle of a forest sandwiched between the appellations of Fleurie and Chiroubles. In an area that is predominantly a monoculture Michel’s farm and forest surroundings give him a lot more biodiversity. These natural surroundings coupled with his biodynamic agriculture ensure Michel’s vineyards are teeming with life. It is this biodiversity that Michel is passionate about – the farm is a living organism that interacts with the surroundings and relies on this biodiversity and the quality of the soil. Each of Michel’s wines is of singular purity and character. La Petite Oseille is delicately perfumed, velvet-textured, light-bodied and persistent.
