Probably France's most famous cheese and believed to be a favourite of King Charlemagne, Roquefort was the first cheese to receive an AOC in 1925.
This Roquefort is made by the 4th generation of the Coulet family in Roquefort sur Soulzon, Aveyron. Milk comes from the local breed of red Lacaune sheep, a highly prized dairy breed. A sweet, fondant body, deeply savoury and salty, syrupy blue.
