"Light brick red colour even in youth which is typical of this variety. It is ethereal on the nose, the fruit initially hidden but once given time to breath a range of flavours emerge including leather, liquorice and dried prunes. On the palate tannin is present and well integrated and though the wine comes from a hot climate the body is not too full. With natural high acidity this is an elegant wine further enhanced by the salinity which characterises wines from the Ionic coast."
