Our passata comes from Sabina and Michele's organic farm San Cesareo in Fano. Each jar is made with more than 1.5kg of San Marzano tomatoes grown without any chemical pesticides or fertilisers in Sicily.
Less than two of the farm's twelve hectares are planted with tomatoes each year as part of their crop rotation cycle alongside pulses and wheat. The result is exceptional soil quality and in turn, flavoursome and nutritious tomatoes, high in vitamins A, C and E, minerals such as potassium and calcium and antioxidant lycopene.
